I don't watch IU...

Yes,and all of the talking heads on the Indy sports stations cant shut up about how IUS chances to make the NCAAS are SO strong now.
3 teams with 15 losses has made the dance in the past two years. IU travels well, drinks a lot of booze, and spends money they don't have to watch their team in tournament play. They win two more and they're likely in.

I watched the IU game yesterday. They were advertising “IU Engineering” on the scorers table. What the heck is that?

They offer one engineering major now and I think it will be limited in scope - it's a bit silly for them to advertise it as "IU Engineering". I certainly don't blame them for adding it - you look at higher education and engineering, sciences, technology, etc. are the future. Purdue tried to 'stop' them from offering it - which I think is pretty silly as well.

I have been wanting to see Purdue start a small medical school/research hospital, given its strong background in science research. I think it'd be big for the Lafayette community as well. But hey, at least we have the prestige of Kaplan University..errr Purdue Global. o_O

17-15 wont cut it. thats 2 more wins, 1 loss in the tourmament. minimum 18 wins, 19 wins still no gaurantee. They probably need to get to the final round.

It’s Fred Glass marketing crap. I wonder what the Lincoln Logs 520 class is like?

Well we have pre-med, pre-law and pre-vet I say add a medical and law school. Tied of bypassing all those IU Health medical buildings when I need a doctor!

We're those teams that made the tourney with 15 losses at large teams or teams that won their leagues tourney?

we point to IU's sorry record. But Texas, with a similar record, is projected to receive an invitation to the dance. Admittedly, we lost to Texas, but are they any more deserving than IU ? A similar case could be made for Butler and Minnesota.

if IU wins out and adds two BIG 10 tourney wins, their resume would be hard to ignore, as one of those tourney wins would be against a top 20 quad 1 team.
