I haven't watched a whole lot of Purdue basketball this year, but every time I do catch glimpses of games, nothing has really changed. Still just bad basketball.
Anyways, I was fortunate enough to catch the last 2 minutes of the first half last night.
I thought painter has always said something to the extent of "if you play defense, that's how you get on the floor at Purdue." PJ Thompson looks like he should be playing in the big west conference, if that. He's short, slow, short arms, no athleticism, no length, no quickness.
Doesn't Bryson play good to great pressure man defense and hasn't he always hounded opposing players bringing the ball up? He's an above average lateral defender with a bulldog aura and great quickness. Great at pushing the ball in transition too.
How do we not have this guy at least playing d to lock a team up?
