How about this chart

That team was pretty athletic and had a guy that could protect the rim in haarms. Maybe painters most athletic team ever, though honestly that’s not really saying much. We could throw nojel, carsen, wheeler, and haarms out there, and cline was a sniper who would be the only minus athlete out there. Anything can happen, but we don’t have anyone as talented as carsen who can get hot and go on a literal historic tournament run.

On the flip side, could you have predicted Carsen to go on that type of run after a previous 11 game stretch of 26% from 3 on ~100 attempts over that time?

Through their first 3 seasons, Fletcher is just barely a better 3 pt shooter (40% vs 39.8%). Fletch has already made 50 more 3s and attempted 120 more than Cline through 3 seasons (and fletch still has more games to play in his 3rd year).

In Cline's best shooting year (4th year as a senior), he shot 41.7% (111/266). Fletch shot 44% last year and is shooting just about 46% this year from 3. Fletch gets to the line more, shoots it better from the line (IF ONLY CLINE MADE HIS SECOND FT IN THE E8 RIGHT BEFORE THE IMPROBABLE OUTCOME), more rebounds, assists, steals, points and shooting % from the field.

It'd be great to see Fletch shoot 266 3s next year like Cline did his senior year. Cline went from 109, 109, 101 to 266.

Fletch has gone from 181, 142 and 120 (so far this year).

Ok so I've been on here a while but what is EM?
Efficiency margin. From KenPom:

AdjEM is the difference between a team’s offensive and defensive efficiency. It’s simple subtraction. Even your dog can do it. It represents the number of points the team would be expected to outscore the average D-I team over 100 possessions and it has the advantage of being a linear measure. The difference between +31 and +28 is the same as the difference between +4 and +1. It’s three points per 100 possessions which is much easier to interpret. This measure also makes the SOS and average conference strength numbers less mysterious.
