Great first half Boilers!!! Up 2 on the #1 seed!!!! Keep playing that nasty man to man and rebound like your lives depended on it and we will be there until the very end!

Fletcher early an CJ late, but it was the team defense that impressed me most that half!
Anytime the rebound is more than 2 feet from the rim, I just assume Houston has it.

I love that Purdue 1/2 court Def has taken Hou out of their game. All we heard was about HOU's #1 D yadda yadda yadda.
If we were relying on Smith and TKR we'd be down 15 at half. We needed a 3rd and 4th scorer to step up and Fletch and Cox have picked up the torch today. If Heide and Colvin can knock down a few, if we can clean up the rebounding and keep being aggressive without being careless we might just pull this off.

We’ve had some pretty bad halves this year. Let’s hope we keep up the intensity. We are making them uncomfortable on offense, maybe it’s affecting the defense too
Colvin is playing some great defense.
Purdue flips the boards and they can win this there has been at least 6 points at the rim and Uzan has 4 threes. 2 of the threes were due to long boards. Another three was due to Braden leaving him to double the ball and the other three was just good offense
All the pressure is on Houston and Purdue has the crowd.
Come out strong first 5 minutes and like our chances.
As has been posted, this game will come down to if Cox, Harris, Colvin, Heide, Loyer can hit shots. Houston is eliminating TKR and Smith like a good defense should.

They're killing us on Offensive rebounds. That's why it seems worse than the total rebounds would suggest. 23-18 total, but they have 11 offensive. Need to do better 2nd half on that.
That was a break for sure. Sharp also grabbed Fletchers arm on that 3 point foul.
The CBS crew really wants Houston to win.

rebounds are the difference. Houston got 5 more offensive rebounds and converted points. Take those out and this could be a 10 point lead.
We missed a lot of shots that should have been money too. But they’ve also missed more shots than their norm.
