Why doesn't Purdue honor our great players from the past like it does in Mackey by hanging names and numbers? On the front of the press box, we should see placards with Dawson, Griese, Phipps, Danielson, Keyes, Hermann, Brees, Woodson, Orton, etc with their numbers. Not to retire the numbers, just to let visitors know the greats that played for the Boilers. At Illinois, they do this with Grange, Butkus.... why can't we do this? I still run into football fans that don't know Brees was a Boiler. We need to do a better job of marketing our greats.
