Good luck with that prediction. Except for Edwards this year's basketball team is going to disappoint Purdue fans big time.
You people need to pump the brakes and stop being so emotional. If you didn't know this season was going to be bad, you didn't look at the roster. We are still paying for the previous regimes sins. Was it a poorly played and coached game? Yes. But there is 0 margin for error because our talent level hasn't recovered yet.
This. Talent makes up for a lot of error and allows risk taking.
This is the same excuse everyone has heard for years....we don't get talent.PERIOD. Brohm isn't going to change that....we're a 5=7 to a 7-5(in a great year)...that's it.
I will say this: Adversity sure exposes character (or a lack thereof). Especially the character of the 'fans.'
You clearly aren't paying attention to next years recruiting class. Nor are you giving Brohm credit for the best playmaker Purdue has seen in a LONG time.
The football board has gotten just like the basketball board last year. Everytime we lost a basketball game from February on we should fire Painter, we do not deserve to go to the tournament, we will lose our first tournament game, etc.
We played bad yesterday. We will improve. We need to relax. We also need to understand that recruits do check out these boards. I am sure that is why we are getting some of these posters. Fans of others schools are trying to post crap, so these recruits will go elsewhere. Won't happen. These recruits know the type of coach Brohm is.
