Glad it's over. This was getting ugly for respectable UoL fans. There were tweets from some of their fans calling Tyler "the cancer kid" and other gems. Plus I suspect at least a few of these trolls were iu people.
It was all about timing. Brohm is a man of integrity and he has made promises he needed to uphold. This will really help Purdue in recruiting. National media attention and he turned down a job two years in a row that everybody said he was going to take. He has built up cred with this. And this was considered the biggest hurdle to keep him here. I love it.

He really only stayed because he is a class act and made a commitment to his players and recruits. He is truly one of the best out there and he came from UofL so I have to respect you guys for that. Good luck with your coaching search, I hope to see you guys turning it around down there shortly.

I did a little bit. I would usually just reply something stupid like "he gone"...but I was wrong and I except it.
Honestly anyone who knows me knows I like seeing schools of high academics do well. I always cheer for Notre Dame,.Purdue, Vandy, Gtech etc....we have had players on our old basketball teams whom I couldn't even understand their English .I wonder how they even get into an University .
I'm a Louisville boy, born a raised and that's my team. Its just the luck of the draw .

I usually hang on the premium board, and checked in here a few times to see what was happening. I don’t remember any of your comments, so they obviously were pretty mild. But there were a small number of real clowns who came to visit, and those are the ones who should be doing what you’ve done. So peace, brother, and happy holidays.

Look at it this way: if 10 years from now he leaves an NFL head coaching gig to come home, what kind of impact would that be for your program?
