Nothing is better than Cline God…except for … 5 Cline Gods!!Is that better than 5 Ryan Cline's though?

I'm not falling for that trick question, we all know that nothing can top 5 Ryan Cline's.Is that better than 5 Ryan Cline's though?
5-7 minutes would be betterAs long as Morton is productive in his 10-15 mins then that’s great. Anything more than 15 min is a bit worrisome.
How about Smith and 4 Edeys all setting ball screens?I'm not falling for that trick question, we all know that nothing can top 5 Ryan Cline's.
I saw clips of Europe and only watched the Samford game. I have watched all the games on TV throughout. So have you actually watched anything or just read all about it ?!
I see that as our core right now, and it may also be that at the time when experience matters when we go into the tournament; however, around mid-season, I see our lineup as Edey, Heide, Colvin, Loyer, and Smith. When the games get tougher, Gillis will be our 4....Jones will play a lot at the 3....Morton will play backup to loyer....heide will play minutes at the 4...tkr will be our back up center with furst playing alongside him in those minutes....Colvin will be situational at the 3....if he's hitting, he'll stay in, otherwise he'll shoot you out of the game along with his poor defense....Waddell will get backup 3 minutes in those cases....but your core will be edey, Gillis, jones, Smith, loyer....
I think starting lineup will be Smith, Loyer, Heide/Jones (depending on opponent lineup), Edey, Furst. I know no most are not gonna buy Furst moving into the starting 4, but it’s just a gut feeling. I see Jones getting minutes at 1-3, Colvin at 2-3, Morton at 1-3, Gillis at 4, TKR 4-5 (cheering for the current plan to work but not sold at this point) Waddell and Berg used as needed but are likely the odd guys out. Seems like a good problem to have but a challenge to give people time they deserve and would benefit further development!I see that as our core right now, and it may also be that at the time when experience matters when we go into the tournament; however, around mid-season, I see our lineup as Edey, Heide, Colvin, Loyer, and Smith.
While I think that Furst might be the better player overall, I think that Gillis is a better complement to Edey and my gut says that he will eventually start at the 4, but I think that all 3 guys (Gillis, Furst, and TKR) have a shot right now.I think starting lineup will be Smith, Loyer, Heide/Jones (depending on opponent lineup), Edey, Furst. not sure who listens to Matt after games but after he was on they brought on Fletcher and asked him about Trey playing with Zach. Fletcher said it was quite potent from what he has seen in practice but that they haven't shown it yet in a game. I don't know how to take that. 1) Does he mean that Matt hasn't actually placed them on the floor where they practice? 2)Does he mean that the two just haven't really shown in the game what they do in practice? 3)Does he just say what he thinks he should say?I think starting lineup will be Smith, Loyer, Heide/Jones (depending on opponent lineup), Edey, Furst. Should have watched the game.I assume all 4 steals were from reach around ( without fouling) because he couldn't stay in front of anyone.
If I had to take a wild guess, I’d say it’d be more so 2 and maybe mixed in a bit with 3.not sure who listens to Matt after games but after he was on they brought on Fletcher and asked him about Trey playing with Zach. All I know is I'm not sure Trey has the particular skill set to play as more recent 4s if that is how it is intended for him to play...which is quite a bit different than just being effective at the 4. Anyone hear Fletcher's comments and have an inside take?
Could be...I have no idea. Unless you see Trey played different than recent 4s we won't know if it could work out for the best. There is a whole staff that wants to win and they should have better insight into that than us especially if we don't see anything. If I had to take a wild guess, I’d say it’d be more so 2 and maybe mixed in a bit with 3.
I hope Trey can figure out how to play with Zach…but I may have been wrong that he could play the 4 alongisde Zach and others were right (yes, I’ll admit it! 😂). I’d like to see painter still go that route for a bit to see if they can figure it out still tho and also to have that lineup as an option for any future games that they may need it (if there are any).
Very true, I hope they have better insight! 😂Could be...I have no idea. Unless you see Trey played different than recent 4s we won't know if it could work out for the best. They do! It doesn't mean they are 100% correct, but believe me they are tuned in to specific things that get unnoticed by fans all the time in practice where we cannot see, and in games as well. It is the little things that can make a big difference.Very true, I hope they have better insight! 😂
I don't think the experience issue matters at all. Look at last year during the FDU game: You had 2 of our most experienced players, Morton and Gillis, who were literally afraid to shoot. With all that experience, they completely wilted under the pressure.I see that as our core right now, and it may also be that at the time when experience matters when we go into the tournament; however, around mid-season, I see our lineup as Edey, Heide, Colvin, Loyer, and Smith.
You are right. Add Jenkins and Newman. Only Edey, Furst, and Loyer shot well in that game. The FDU coach was right. If we had played ten games, we would have won nine. Then again, look what happened against Arkansas.I don't think the experience issue matters at all. Give me talent over experience when it comes to Colvin and Heide over those guys.
