The decision likely saved Quayle's life, because Ryan and his entourage were subsequently murdered at the airstrip in Jonestown as the party tried to escape the massacre.[

Kamal Harris isn't a dummy either. Graduated from Howard University and JD from the University of California Hastings College of Law. Elected CA Attorney General. Elected to the US Senate. I bet you didn't know this. Black women are capable of graduating from universities and colleges like anyone else.

Retired CA congresswoman, Jackie Speier was one of Ryan's aids that did accompanied him. She was shot multiple times and survived.

Harris was ELECTED Attorney General by the voters of CA. Harris was ELECTED to the US Senate by the folks of CA. Not Willie. With those credentials she was more than qualified for, just as much if not more than her VP predecessors and was selected as VP by Biden.
