Harbaugh being Harbaugh

Lol.

And your response is to ignore the fact Ross Ade's visiting team facilities majorly suck, and then whine because that was exposed.

Meyer, btw, was asked about Harbaugh's comments and agreed.

So, like i said earlier the logical thing to do is spend some of the B1G TV moola and make some basic upgrades. No excuses.

Then it's done, and end of story.

Go Blue. Always.
So, let's set aside the poor taste of the public call-out by Harbaugh over issues that are far from life or death (which is really what this is about).
You are in charge of Purdue athletics. How much money are you going to spend renovating a visitor locker room that meets conference regulations and is likely to be demolished soon as part of one of the south end zone renovation project? Keep in mind every dollar spent here is one less dollar for the recently completed $60m facilities upgrade, the proposed south end zone upgrade, the sound system upgrade (which might be the #1 facility complaint of visiting fans if the temperature was within normal ranges), and a whole host of other capital expenses.

Sounds like you are on board with air conditioning. That probably means upgrading the electrical and ventilation in that building. How many urinals are you proposing? How much more room does the team need to gather? Now, we are talking about physical expansion of the building. Do you want to stick the x-ray equipment in there too? Modern exam tables?? Did I miss anything on Jim's rant list? Never mind. We're probably to the point where it would be more economical just to demolish the building and put up a new one. Oh wait, that's already the plan.

Harbaugh is such a whining petulant child. Everything he cried about has been proven to be false or he knew about it well in advance and was offered ways to accommodate his team.

Should of expected nothing else from him really though.
how stupid, exactly what was proven false. you know how dumb that sounds to really believe harbaugh has nothing better to do then make shit up. he hasn`t been to purdue in over 30 years! do you really believe he is out to get you guys?

why was it poor taste? he was asked questions in a public press conference and responded honestly. you act like he has it out for purdue. he commented about what he saw and experienced. let it go.

#fakenews
Did you even watch the interview?
He was asked for an update on Speight's condition and contacting the league about the hit. He proceeded into the 4 minute monologue about the condition of the facilities entirely on his own.

Hopefully Harbaugh will be so disgusted by the conditions of various COLLEGE visitor locker rooms throughout the rest of the season, that he will be inspired to leave UM and return his talents to the NFL by way of...

THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS!!!

The NFL = Land of perfect visitor locker rooms and all the enmities you could possibly hope for!

Come on down, CJH! GO HORSE!!!

That's not so far-fetched.

I'm not crying about the targeting calls on Purdue. Fair enough. The no calls on Michigan far, far outweighed any additional no call on us. The no call pass interferences on MI are unforgivable. Michigan wore us down, no doubt about it, but MI fans beware...enjoy this victory while you can. Purdue, under Brohm will be back to beat your butts soon enough.
You can thank our boys for knocking Speight out of contention, since Harmouth was too stupid to take him out on his own.
He will jump at the first opportunity like his mentor Bobby Petrino he will be in the SEC in a couple of years

Yep. In real time from the defender's POV when he had to make the decision to move that 300 pound body, Speight wasn't any more down than O'Corn was later in the game when he did that ballet move to avoid going to the ground when Bentley had him lined up. You would think fans of a defensive minded team like Michigan would understand playing to the whistle.

Okay...thanks for the commendation on Brohm. We'll just have to blow your kazoo until your blue in the face within two years then. If you need an x-ray following, we'd be glad to fly you down to our student medical center. It's air conditioned.

The ESPN article clearly points out that a member of Harbaugh's staff visited in July, was told there was no air - conditioning but other accomadations could be made available if requested. Even provided him with name and phone number to do so. Also that the Purdue Visitor's Manuel states the same thing in emboldened letters....Michigan evidently chose not to do that....
I have great respect for UM as a university, but little to no respect for their football program of recent years. Harbug is just another example of the spoiled little rich boy attitude I see manifesting all over that group. He knew coming in there was no AC. He had the option of asking for it and did not. Now he wants to complain? The x-ray facility was 2 blocks away. No big deal, but he wants to complain? Get a life! As for tomahawk, buddy, you are backing another loser UM football coach that needs to grow up.

I am sure being a cry-baby will really "inspire" his team to win the tough ones, right? He is just a spoiled whiner who will probably never consistently beat OSU or any of the better programs as long as he fails to act like a man. His kids will use him as an example and find excuses for not winning. Good luck UM, you are going to need it.

Messaging matters. Context matters.
This is not about having an adult conversation about Purdue's facilities and whether the visitor locker room needs updating or whether there should be x-ray equipment within the physical footprint of the stadium. And it is not about player safety. It is about Harbaugh taking time in a post game presser to complain about whatever is on his mind at the moment. It is unprofessional and it has been a pattern with him over the years.
By making a public scene about these small issues, he is coming across as the coach who cried AC (while wearing a sweatshirt). And the coach who cried X-ray convenience. And the coach who cried egregious hit. "If I had a stronger word I would use it". Yeah, no hyperbole there..
Point is, Purdue knows we have work to do with facilities. And we're making up for years of neglect. Do you realize we didn't have lights on the stadium until this year? Do you realize that until this year the players could not all train at the same time due to facility limitations? Walk a mile in our shoes.
An honest and professional attempt at progress would be where Purdue is pointing in their statement. Let's come up with standardized guidelines as a conference to help prioritize these issues, not cast stones in post game pressers like whiney, arrogant children.
That's all I have to say on the subject.

Lets face it....Harbaugh wanted to make an issue of our facilities due to the positive renovations that our University has made...
His words sound like a guy that got beat 28-10 but you sure didn't hear our coach whine and cry like a sore looser. I really feel that Harbaugh looked at the game as a loss due to the fact that MU did not roll over the Boilers and the game was way to tight for his liking.Get use to Jimbo!!
JB was pure class in a loosing effort.

why is it whining? because you dont like hearing the truth?
Hey...all you blue bloods. Thanks for taking the time to respond on our sight. We so appreciate your increased respect for the Purdue program. I am surprised that the Detroit garbage department gives you so much time off to blog on opponents websites. Obviously, by your remarks, you have a hard time distinguishing between your job and your writing. Even so, it is a free country! Go for it!

Next time Harblow brings Meatchicken to RA I suggest we run ice machines for a week ahead and fill the damn locker room for him. That ought to take care of the heat. If it's a late season game and the temp is low I'd suggest not heating the locker room so he can have it cooler like he wants it. If he'd stayed in the NFL instead of running back to his childhood sandbox he'd have all the amenities he could whine for.
28-10

what are you? about 13 years old. what a dumb statement.
Odd question to ask when you are still over here playing the child. Go home. Worry about your next opponent.

We will see you next year, and I doubt the mediocre performance of your Wolve-tines will be enough once we get this program rolling again. In fact I think you will begin to get used to losing to OSU and Purdue every year. It's going to become a regular seasonal event.
