I was a senior in high school and was there with my brother-in-law and his brother. Amazing game to be at.

What a game. It was my first, as a freshman, one year ahead of you. I was among those dots running onto the field, the older students around us thought they were going to tear down the goal post and march it down to the Wabash, but they had just replaced the goal posts with unbreakable ones. So instead, people just started climbing and hanging on them and bouncing it like a big piece of playground equipment.

What an introduction to college football.

I was of course too young to remember, but I vaguely recall seeing "video tapes"? of the victory. Good win.
