Id have to look at the stats closer to verify, but it seems like Haas is much better at scoring toward the end of a game this year. The beginning he struggles, and then ends up having his way later. I can think of three reasons for this:

1) He and Biggie wear the other team down with their size.
2) Shooters hit so many triples that defenders are forced to guard out at the arc more and are unable to double team as much.
3) He is less worried about fouls so he can play more aggressively.

Do these seem right? Any other reasons?

I think you are spot on. And frankly I think that his progression is tied directly to the outside shooters hitting and the emergence of CE. It's sort of a chicken before the egg kinda thing, but when CE and the shooters are hitting.... Haas and Biggie seem to be more efficient and effective.
