Haarms - next hated player?

As long as he doesn't do anything stupid, he'll be fine. He mostly celebrates with himself, which is a bit peculiar, but as long as he doesn't get T'd up and/or direct it to opposing players.

Ironically, he hasn't drawn the ire of opposing fan bases - not that we've had that many true road games. For some stupid reason, Maryland fans seem to think heckling Haas about being ugly is the thing to do. Couldn't be happier to see him shred them after being in that building the past 2 years and hearing that crap (not to mention Swanigan and his weight heckling last year).

Yeah, Ibodel....the scoreboard was the best answer to any "heckling."

Haarms's animated reactions to big plays reminds me of Mo Wagner at Michigan. Maybe it's just something about really tall European guys who play ball in the B1G.

Not me. Love his play though. But he's too much for me. Really hope he calms down a bit. Or just reserves it for big moments
 
Celebrate at the end of the game!

Trying to teach that to my grandson, who does a little victory dance whenever he hits a HR on the video game.

"Um, look at the score, CJ. I'm ahead 15 to 1".

Yeah there's definitely been a moment after a fist-pumping he was like, "oh shit, I gotta get up on offense." I'm sure he'll tone it doqn with maturity.
 
Haarms had some speed getting up the court. Is he the fastest on the team running sprints with his long stride?

"They hate me, because they ain't me!".
They hate guys who they would love to have on their team. The kid is going to be a serious spark plug for this team. So emotional and hard nose player. I love it.
