Haarms enrolling early

I would be shocked if Haarms played one minute this season. We have a team (emphasis: TEAM) that has played together for most of the year. I doubt he could be effective in a 4 weeks of practice. He won't understand the defensive switches or the offensive plays. He would be a liability compared to even Eifert. We have a significant upclass group of players that give us an advantage.

If needed, Matt could go with VE at 6'8", Cline at 6'6", Mathias at 6'5" along with PJT and C-Boggie. Let's face it, we have been beaten by teams with not much more size. Rebounding is a matter of position and not height. Where we lose ground with being smaller is on the offensive end. Going small upends the game planning our opponents do against our big front line, and scrambles the game.

I take credit for the prophesy in the second paragraph!

This. It can't be said enough. :D
I hate to waste a year and the kid committed to Matt due to teh "development" of bigs at Purdue. THAT said, this kid in video is just tall. He doesn't play like the normal big. He is tall, runs the court pretty decent and can play out on the floor. I'm not sure who he can guard, but offensively I'm not sure there is an issue in the puzzle relative to skill sets.

He does need strength and I doubt the kid wants to lose a whole year being behind in how Purdue plays and getting very sparse minutes. Now, with him and Taylor I don't see either of them loving the low post...
