Going to try to shake off the negative vibes and be positive here folks.

Our guard play is good and what kept us in the game.

PJ, Mathias, Cline and Carsen all gave us good minutes.

36 points, 9 rebounds
7-15 from three, 5-6 from the line
solid D – was a little surprised at Cline’s D – pretty good

Also, I don’t recall a turnover from full court pressure. A full court press isn’t an issue for this team.

Carsen didn’t shoot it well, but even when he missed, you felt it was a good shot for the team. He is always a threat – either to drive it himself, drive and dish or hit the long range jumper.

I think our bigs are good, just not against teams with 3-4 agile and long bigs. Louisville is just a matchup nightmare for us. Hopefully, next time we face a team with athletic bigs, we will learn from tonight's defeat and not have those mentally weak stretches like we had in the first half.

I complete disagree that our guards are good. Defensively we can't stop dribble drive. Offensively, only Carsen Edwards can create his own shot. None of our guards would be in the rotation at IU. Cline and Mathias should have roles similar to Ryne Smith's role not E'twaun Moore's role. PJ can only hit shots when he's open, but can't create shots for himself or make tough shots with a defender in his face.

To their credit, we are doing a better job a breaking the press this year.

If we would have signed Bryant McIntosh and JP Macura iin our 2014 class like almost happened, we may be undefeated
