I'm glad the Purdue coaches finally realized there is no rule requiring 2 line plunges for no gain before a pass is allowed to be thrown. That has unfortunately been the modus operandi for too long. Purdue does not have much of a running game, so using what works - passing - was a pleasant change. Hopefully it will continue.
