Neither Dakota nor Cline could guard the pick and roll, so Painter went with both point guards to shut some of that down. It wasn't pretty, but it worked.

Not only do we need Biggie to get well, but Kendall could have made an impact in this game on the defensive end.

Agree, he had to do something. It was a slight improvement. They were still getting too many close looks. I think it will be something they figure out.

I'm betting they'll put Biggie back in to help clog the lane. First time all year without him and the need for adjustment was apparent.

They better get it fixed before they see Trimble or we'll give up 50 in the paint. Every lesson learned gets them better for March.

I would like for them to keep Hammons/Haas in lane no higher than the charge/block arch! Do not hedge the high pick and roll.

Aj usually does a good job on the pick and roll and he will need to hedge against guys like Trimble or Yogi.
But he has I keep his hands up and deny the entry pass along with the drive or quick shot.

But I have no clue why he was hedging against Minny? They weren't even shooting 3's or driving much. He should have just stayed home and dared them to shoot. He was off in that game on both ends. If it was a pattern, I would worry. It hasn't been so I chalk it up to an off night.
