Agree to disagree. He had diagnosed and called the fake kneel as soon as Purdue lined up. That’s studying the teams you’re discussing l.yes he does

The call was great and the execution was perfect as well. The O Line with the collective stand up for a good 2 secs before the jailbreak. Too good. Love it!
wrong.
that wasn't the first time that coaching staff used it.
He is better at commentary than Quarterbacking
of course I disliked him when he was at nd, but I think he did a good job last night.Brad Quinn doesn’t suck at commentary.

(and whoever the play by play guy was)
The risk/reward on the fake 'take a knee' is very low!
Now, a fake punt, has a high risk/reward! (as does many other tactics)
That said, it was VERY well executed. Takes some very good acting!
All the more reason it will lose effectiveness
Exactly if it doesn't work it is like taking a knee, which is what you were trying to fake! Also it would mean 10 games into next season the opposing coaching staff has to watch all those games for those two dozen fakes we used and spend time making your team aware of all our tricks. So it works even when you are not using it because the other team has to spend time preparing.
Wow. I wonder how many binders that takes. This year we went into each game with about 170 plays that could be called, more than double what we went into a game when Hazell was coach.
