Got the 2023 Class QB already

Way to crap all over the recruit already. Give it a rest.
He looks like a great athlete to me. Could be great at a number of positions but I just think Allen will be the better quarterback and they're only separated by one class.

That is a better statement and one that I can see.

Even if Allen ends up being better, since when did we only need or play one quarterback? And Brohm didn't take one in the 2021 class. The QB room in 2023 is 3 guys unless JP sticks around for a 6th year or Brohm signs a transfer.
Alaimo (R-Jr)
Allen (So)
Collins (Fr)

Yeah, I mean injuries never affect Purdue, and Brohm isn't one to try a change at QB to spark the offense. I'd definitely try him somewhere else. Who needs depth in the QB room? TIC

My guess is that whoever wins the starting job, the other probably isn't looking to be a career backup.

Sure. And 4-star QB's like to just sit behind another or share the QB positions for their careers too. TIC

Big difference between a transfer 2 or 3 years into his career and starting out with expectations that he will end up at a different position. Who knows what will happen that far ahead. He could win the QB job. Or somebody else could win and then get injured. Think about the opportunity either one of these guys would have if they were on the team right now, even if they started the season as QB3.

So apparently he's not that committed?
He saw on here that Purdue had a commit for '22 and that his position was going to change, two things he apparently was not aware of...

That said, if anyone is thinking Kansas for football...over Purdue, or, most other legit D-I offers...one would have cause to wonder.

I dunno... Kansas did have Les Miles, so they now have his legacy. Could be a cool place to play as a result....

I missed out on a true opportunity of a lifetime due to Covid...I was going to attend a statue unveiling in honor of Gale Sayers, and, a subsequent Birthday celebration for him...missed out even further in that Mr. Sayers unfortunately subsequently passed away in the interim...I was blessed and honored to have attended a service in his memory last month...but, I was REALLY looking forward to the trip to Lawrence...crazier yet...Les would have been the HC still at the time, and, certainly we would have crossed paths in some form or fashion.

Is 2 sacks a game bad though?
Wouldn't it be better if he can tuck it and run for a couple of yards when the OL caves? Or at least poses the threat of running so the defensive linemen and linebackers need to back off a little?

If Brohm was signing only four star OLs this wouldn’t be an issue.

Well, another issue is the number of times AOC can't find an open receiver and throws the ball away. He has a lot of 'throw aways' every game. It would be a lot better to tuck it and run for a few yards.

That ill agree with, although, some of the dual threat guys tuck and run when the first read isnt there, which i dont like. AOC improved considerably over the course of the season on getting off the first read (mainly because he had to sit in the pocket)
