Oh I know it happens some, and I don't think Painter fools with it. That's why I was surprised when you said cash envelope money in reference to Painter just now having the funds to recruit well. I think Painter has integrity on the court and in basketball. I don't think he is a great coach, but I do respect his basketball related actions.

Funny I was just about to post a link that takes you to that article. Not only is he announcing via twitter, from his own mouth it does appear he is still undecided and talking to coaches.

He may go to Cal yet, but Goodman is basically only speculating it seems.

that is my take also- in the other thread I mentioned a very plausible scenario. Rabb has said he is down to Cal and Arizona- not committing until next week. Perhaps he decided to play it safe and choose the PAC12 powerhouse Arizona instead of a mystery rebuild with Cal. Caleb talks with teammate and now knows the package deal is off... moves up his timetable to commit to Purdue.

That is my story and I'm sticking to it! lol...

How could Goodman know that "All signs" are pointing to Cal? Then 11 hrs later the kid announces MSU. Goodman goes on my list of false prophets gambling to get a scoop -- and losing credibility.
