As a HS Coach I appreciate stability as a factor when considering who your QB us. But the reality is...this team needs good sound play...effective play at the position.
Yesterday...live...I saw AA lock onto targets, show a slow release, make bad reads, run slow/lumbering on keeps in option game, throw 4 (2 critical) pics and fail to execute on an easy TD.....and I mean easy.
This is the same player we watched erode last year.....he is no different.
More than stability we need good, not great plat at the QB position. We need yo find a Qb who can make plays running in the option game, throw the ball downfield 3-5 times a game and not lose us games....
AA is a good player but is not good enough.
The play calling was fine and basically generated 41 points if AA makes the easy throw to Jursevic and we make the FG....it's not game planning or play calling...outside of the conservative play calling after pick.
It's QB play...pure and simple. That's on AA and DH
