I knew the Hawks were overrated, and your team proved it decisively. Congratulations!, The Boilers were definitely the better team today. Good luck the rest of the season! Perhaps we will sometime end up most hated rivals after all!
You guys aren't big A-Holes like them so it will be tough sledding to overtake them. Thanks for the congrats and good luck the rest of the way.I know we can never supplant IU as a rival, but a can't a man dream!
Believe it or not I never got into the most hated rival thing. I love Iowa City and even followed a doctor from Michigan and have an annual check up with him at your university hospital. I just moved to Kauai and still may even travel back to see him. Love Joseph’s when I visitI knew the Hawks were overrated, and your team proved it decisively. The OMHR thing is such an over-the-top farce that some people miss the humor. I have respected what the Iowa program has done for decades. Some of my favorite all-time football and basketball players have played for Iowa. And then there is their wrestling program. (Purdue finally wised up and hired a former Hawkeye to be their coach.) But I still have fun with the OMHR thing. Partly because it appeals to my sense of humor. But mostly because it infuriates the IU fans whose only consolation prize is to think they are the #1 most hated in our eyes. They crave to be #1 at something in our eyes.Believe it or not I never got into the most hated rival thing.
