Coach Brohm definitely deserves a raise, but Nick Holt earned his too with tonight’s performance alone.

Holt and defensive staff have done an outstanding job since coming here. Think about the significant turnaround on D last year. We had to start this year with 8 new starters. Most of which are freshmen and sophomores so a little struggle was to be expected. Their getting it now and it's fun to see. I especially like Cornell Jones and Kenneth Major.
Basically the whole D returns next year besides Thieneman,Cason, and Blackmon. Add in the talented newcomers and we should have a good defense for a good while.

Why wait? . . . . Give them the Culvers account now! When the Boilers Win their Bowl game this year, all the Coaches should get a bump, and a monthly account at Culver’s. I have no issues with that, do you?
Completely agree. Tackling technique is clearly being taught well.Vis a vis the performance of our defense against OSU- is it just my imagination or was our tackling as good as I am thinking? I recall few if any times that tackles were not completed. It did not seem as if any Buckeye offensive players were running thru tackles on Saturday.
Hopefully Neal and Major are ok, both played well Saturday night.
Why not? We threward $2M a year into the turtleneck market and the stadium was empty. Surely we can afford more for full stadiums and night games on national TV like last game. There's a lot of money being thrown around on this board...!
