Finally someone is saying this. I wish a few more people would jump on that bandwagon. I really think forcing ND to join a conference would hurt their recruiting. They are national right now. If forced to join a conference, they would go to ACC (while keeping a nonconference schedule including USC and Navy) and I think that would put a dent in their midwest recruiting.
