I think you're absolutely right about 1 & 2.
But I also think the North Florida and Gardner-Webb performances are important because if we do lose tomorrow and end up "solidly on the bubble," as you say, then we need every single positive we can get. Those two games will be seen as bad losses no matter what, but they will certainly look less bad if both teams end up in the tournament.
Moreover, each game they win boosts our RPI a bit, as does each game they play against teams with good records (like High Point and Coastal Carolina). As long as a past opponent of ours is not near the bubble, I want them winning out.
