Another easy way is through espn app on Apple TV or Chromecast. If you have a smart tv the app should be there as well. Much easier.

Just run an HDMI cable from laptop to TV. Boileratthebeach is right, if you have a smart TV the ESPN app is even easier. Unfortunately I don't have one!!

On direct tv just go to ESPN and hit the red button on the remote. That will take you into the ESPN 3 drop down menu

I think it's a pretty new feature . I had them years to and just went back last week. Seems like alot of new features and my installation guy was awesome this time

That must be a new feature - thanks for pointing it out. I love the Pandora feature on DirecTV. Music on the background game on the TV.
