Our O-line gets stuffed on the goal line. Settle for a field goal against ISU. Going to be a long season fellows.

Why not call a time out when you are two yards away and give your QB's back time to recover? Or make sure if he should even be in there?

Nice to see Anthrop in the game after being told he would sit. Personally, that screams of desperation and Purdue looking for something to get them started. Is that the second time Purdue has been stuffed in a third and one?
I will say, given ISU's field position, the defense is playing well. Outside of a single blown coverage, which someone should have called a TO there, they have played well.

Great throw by AA. The offense has talent for sure, just needs someone that can use their strengths.
Looked like the play was intended for Monterosa. Every other receiver drew the ISU defenders up toward the goal line.
Pretty good first half. Didn't like the turnover and got a little stagnant on offense in the 2nd quarter. Good defense so far and a great finish.

Wish Griggs would knock a few in, not good that he has looked this bad early. Just put the game away early in the 2nd half and let Blough and some youngsters get some reps.
You know, I dislike Shoop as much as anyone, but the offense does have 342 yards in the first half. That's not terrible.
well, AA and Monterosa have ensured that Purdue will be on all the highlight clips for tonight.
It was a pretty good half. I feel like Purdue should be up by 7-10 more, but not too bad, overall.
We are playing ISU. We should have gone in up by 10 at half. Our offense has stalled or settle for field goal attempts multiple times. I am afraid you are setting yourself up for disappointment when we begin playing real Div. 1 teams.
I don't expect Purdue to win a lot of Big Ten games if that is what you are implying, but I do think that Purdue is clearly better than last year.
I get it - Shoop only gets credit if we get 342 yards via 5-7 yard runs and passes. Big scoring plays don't count.
I think we can all agree that our D has been pretty good and consistent today.
