This game just has that feel of a close loss at the end. Too many mistakes and missed opportunities that half. It’s never good to give a bad team confidence.
can't let them assholes score on a 4th down there esp after not doing anything the whole half.
How do we blow out Mich St and Iowa. Play great O against Ohio St. And then play like dog shit against NW? Hope we see some 2nd half adjustments...

Also the growing pains of inconsistency and playing to the level of the competition. Need a solid second half effort here.....we shall see.
Happy that I can’t see this mess. Big 10 network is showing Penn State vs Rutgers. My cable doesn’t offer multiple Big 10 channels. (Verizon FIOS).
It would be nice just to see a 28 -10 game vs a team like them instead of such a muddled mess.
Even though that benefitted us, that slip on the kickoff amplifies why playing games on this field is a joke.
We need to come out and get a 3 possession lead then try to bleed out the rest of the game without getting any key players hurt.
The non onside kick worked out for us but hope no one gets hurt.

Major props to Milton Wright. He has really come on as this season progressed. Thought those drops were really going to plague him through his entire career but the past 6 or so game he's developed into a reliable option.
Agree. Especially with an offense as anemic as Northwestern's. Not hard to see them kicking a couple field goals the rest of the way.
Hold them and drive for another TD to put this away. I don't know the time of possession, but it has to be heavily in our favor. NW's defense should be getting tired soon.
He's a great weapon. Works hard. Deserves the success he has. Look forward to seeing him grow the next season or 2!
