Just out of the top 25 in both polls. Should be a good challenge for us.

Also of note, their schedule after us has them playing at in-state rival #20 Georgia and then hosting #2 UCONN so maybe we'll catch them looking ahead a little bit. Of course, our schedule gets even tougher after tonight also with Ohio State on deck and Maryland in the hole so it would be really big to get a win tonight.

The lady Jackets made the sweet 16 last year and lost by like 10
Points in that game. They return their entire starting lineup plus picked up a nice transfer from Syracuse, it will be a great challenge against a really good team.

Interesting game as Nell Fortner returns to Purdue. A few years ago, when the team (and coach - mostly the coach?) were struggling and nothing seemed to predict a return to success with said coaching staff, I wondered if Fortner, or Carolyn Peck might come back.
Looks like both have landed in good places, but I would have been happy to have either of them.
BUT, the current situation has been an absolute joy to witness - things are in a good place with CKG and I’m so pleased for the university and the players! Gosh they’re engaged, buying in, and having fun. Wins will follow.

quiet, promising start to season continues. Just got home, will have to catch the highlights later on BTN after the challenge goes final.

Was thinking of going a Big Ten game or 2 with my wife and bring our kids (they get tix as part of BM Kids Club). Would be our first women's game together as a family. I was thinking IU because obviously, what other game would you guys recommend?

I want to support the direction and energy of the program.

I wasn't expecting her to take the shot either. Sounds like it was supposed to go to Kyle again. Really wasn't expecting her to be the one to take the inbounds. I was thinking Ellis or Layden but Madison was the inbounder so she couldn't.

It was a great play by Terry. Obviously Coach Gearlds really believes in her.

It was a awesome win! I'm not one to get overly excited watching a game on TV. But I scared the cat when that last shot went in. Lol.

IU is pretty good. I don't want to say we can't beat them, but it for sure looks like the toughest home game on the schedule to me. If your primary objective is seeing a win, I'd go with another one. Then again, if you want to possibly witness a huge upset, that's an opportunity for it.

I know they're Big Ten fave and ranked high, figure go for the rivalry and shot at terrific upset. That's why I am looking for recommendations on a good, winnable weekend conf game to attend for a 2nd game.

Big Ten Home
12/5 - vs Ohio State
1/2 - vs Rutgers
1/16 - vs Indiana
2/27 - vs Wisconsin

Those are the Big Ten home games on the weekend. Wisconsin and Rutgers both currently having losing records in non-conference so either of those should be hopeful wins. Rutgers is the day after New Years so I don't know if the holiday weekend makes that less likely for your plans or not. There's also non-conference home games on 12/12 and 12/19 against mid major opponents.

Also don’t forget that Terry got the contested rebound after Tech’s last FT miss.

And, to Stephanie White’s credit, during the time out she called having Terry go ”downhill“ for the shot as one of the best of KG’s alternatives.

And they did! A bit of luck but love their battle. D won this. Particularly in 2nd half.
Great hustle. Really enjoy this team. So different. Development of Kyle and Woltmann remarkable. Terry was a great get and a smart player. Now play tough vs Osu and Md. lots of BT wins possible now.

Sloppy game and for the most part I didn't think we looked very good but we got the W and that's all that matters at the end. LOVE Katie's excitement and passion! Won't be long before the WBB team is contending for B1G titles again and a national player. It was a true Purdue broadcast with Nell Fortner being back and Steph calling the game. Lots of Purdue love!

13-15 wins that I predicted might be a tad low??? Maybe 15-17ish? Team plays hard, not a ton of talent but there’s some, that’s a heckuve win over a good team!
