OK half for Purdue. Need to keep Dayton out of the lane and clean up the offensive fouls. They have a big advantage when they have Kyle in but need to be able to keep her in.

This game is the first where I feel there's been a significant talent difference outside of Purdue's top few players. Ellis, Layden, and Kyle are high-major good. where you expect them to be good most games The rest are inexperiences, inconsistent, or both and more of a 50-50 type of proposition from game to game.

Purdue really had one player that played well today and they'll need more than that to win games against this level of competition.

I didn't get to see the game. But looking at the box score three things stood out to me.

Rebounding.....they got beat on the boards pretty bad. 41-30 and gave up 15 offensive.

Shooting.....38% and 25% from three. Not going to beat good or decent teams very often shooting those percentages.

Madison Layden.....need her to be a star. 10 points 6 assists 3 rebounds is ok but with this team at the moment they need a lot more from her. I'm not sure if Dayton just took her away or she just wasn't as aggressive as they need her to be. Knowing Madison I'm sure she will bounce back strong against Marshall on Monday.
