Last year at this time there was a lot more drama about Purdue's resume. This year it looks clear that the road to Phoenix will go from Indy to Detroit.
Illinois just won the Big Ten Tournament. Purdue got an extra day's rest, and Purdue is now five days away from trying to redeem itself after being just the second #1 seed to lose in the first round. The last one of course went on to win the whole thing the next season.
