I have a 95% of my choice picking a loser. So I'm going to predict that Arizona wins, and hope I retain my string of bad predictions. .

Looking at some national media forecasts, it's about 50/50

Something to think about. the national scouts have indicated that Arizona has a running QB much like Louisville, and their defense is about the same. In other words, Arizona has a good offense, but a terrible defense - much like Louisville and Missouri. Looking back, Missouri wasn't as bad as our score indicated as they had just fired their defensive coordinator. And we hung tough against Louisville

I expect this game to be much like the Louisville and maybe IU game. Our defense has shown they are up to the task the entire year. And our offense has excelled against pour defenses.

make your pick.

I hope we jump out to a lead, like the iu game. I have a feeling their stable of running backs may wear us down by the end of the game. Boiler UP!

Purdue-33
Zona-31

Big game from Terry Wright tonight

Arizona loads up the box on D, Sindelar hits some nice seam routes to our TE’s. Defense scores a TD, high scoring game PU 38-30. Celebrations breaking out around the country, Boilers End season at 7-6!!

The cats are a poor man’s Louisville. But Tate can’t make the throws Lamar can. We contain their big plays on the ground, we roll. 35-20 Purdue.

I'm a happy guy. the game lived up to all the hype and predictions..

and keeping my string in tact, the team I predicted to win, lost as usual.

this game probably wasn't good for my heart. it took me a couple hours to calm down.

Looking back, we will probably never remember the score or the stats or how to spell Mahoungou's name. But we will remember the plays and the victory. and if he doesn't make it into the NFL, Mahoungou will be remembered forever for "THE CATCH' !!

I broke out a Mt Dew at the beginning of the game. We went up 7-0 and I put it down on the table. We then dropped the two touchdowns and I looked over and saw my drink. I started drinking it again and BOOM, 21-14. Needless to say, I couldn't take any further chances and ended up consuming 5 more over the course of the game.
For some weird reason, I had trouble getting to sleep after the game....

lots of caffeine in that stuff

man, my heart was racing in that 4th quarter. and then boom, it exploded at the 1:44 mark shaking my entire house and waking up my wife.

Exciting game and big win for the program!
But could have been much less exciting with a couple safeties with serviceable coverage skills. Second half, AZ threw the game plan in the trash can, went four wide and just simply started taking their pick of which of our safeties to throw at downfield. And it worked. Over and over.

Kudos to our front seven for stopping a very explosive running attack, but weakness in the secondary reared it’s ugly head again. Tate is not a very good passer. Degree of difficulty on his TD throws were extremely low. Sindelar was throwing into windows. Tate was throwing into olympic size swimming pools.

IMO people are down on our defense for next year, but I think the secondary is an area that might improve by the end of next season if a couple of the young pups can spool up quickly.

I really didn't want to start a new thread to ask this question.

Did S Jallow play in the bowl game ? I never heard his name mentioned. He had 0 tackles. I thought he was one of our better dbacks. And the ones we were playing were getting burned and blew a lot of coverages. He retweeted a post by #2 raise Papi on 24 Dec that said he was blessed to play in a bowl game. But he made no tweets about himself. anybody know his status?
