For those of you from the Fort...

I remember a lot of those players, some personally.............good stuff! Summit City Pride!!

I still remember watching Northrop's Walter Jordan in the 1974 Indiana HS title game against Jeffersonville and soon-to-be teammate Wayne Walls. Classic old black & white special.

Wow! That just brought back some memories!!

Yeah....and it's funny how certain things stick with you from your youth.

Speaking of 1974, I still remember also watching what (still to this day) to me was one of the best, most riveting games......the National Semi-Final between NC State and UCLA. UCLA seemed to have the game won on a couple of occasions.....went to a second overtime.....ended UCLA's 7-year title run from '67 - '73.

On top of that, I was allowed to eat in front of the TV, which in our family was a big deal at the time.

As BBG would remind me, I am "showing" my age.

I saw Greg Gary at the Bball preview dinner a few weeks ago. I told him I went to South Side and I was very proud of Davis. He asked me if John Flowers went there...I said yes I think so in like 1980 but that it was before my time. Guess I have more gray hair than I think.o_O

Didn't Flowers start out at Indiana and then transfer? UNLV maybe.

I think James Hardy was the all time SAC scoring leader before Thomas broke it. He also lead Elmhurst to State Runner up. Probably should be on the list ahead of Colclasure

Hell, if they are going to include Warsaw area............I didn't think I saw Jeff Grose mentioned. Am I blind?
