Given all the rousing testimony on this board, there’s little wonder about where the Boilermakers draw their inspiration while playing at home … (and a good explanation for why this year’s only blowout losses came at Ross-Ade). Who'd want to play in front of such fans? Besides the opponents?

The current crop of GBI football posers could rewrite a few rallying cries …

“Remember the ala mode!”

“Lafayette, we are fear!”

“We have not yet begun to flight!”

“Damn the torpedoes -- full speed aground!”

“When the going gets tough, our tough gets going the hell out of town.”

“Screw you guys. I’m going home.”

“I shalt not return!”

“Better red than dead!”

Actually, the last one hasn’t been changed … except in the stands at Purdue.

Geez, I’d rather have a 2015 Saluki in my foxhole (except the one who dropped the 2-pointer).

For one week, grow a pair and channel the rage where it’s due … at the hicks from helltown.

FIU … and I don’t mean Florida International.

Ass will be kicked, and Boilermakers will be doing the kicking.

I want Purdue to beat IU on saturday.

I also wanted Purdue to beat Marshall, VA Tech, Bowling green, Minnesota and Illinois-- each one an absolutely winnable game that was abysmally coached.

I applaud your passion for a win, but please lose the BS indignation about other, equally passionate Purdue fans who are sick and tired of this demonstrably clueless coaching staff , and the massive hurt they have put on the reputation of this fantastic university.

Crawl back in your hole...................

I want change, and we will not get it hoping for a victory this Saturday.

Understandable. But enjoy the efforts and take comfort in the fact that Danny Hope whipped up on IU in three of his four meetings -- 38-21, 31-34 (OT), 33-25, 56-35 -- yet, even after the blowout win in his finale, "he gone."

This post is so insanely idiotic, that I'm not going to waste any more of my time explaining how we are all now dumber for having read it.

Are you the Assistant To The Athletic Director?

I expect a close game on Saturday. Compare like opponents and there is nothing to suggest IU will blow us out. I hope we have Blough.

Look. A better fan post. Don't get hurt patting yourself On the back

Anyone still following this team is a great fan and can say anything they want. They earned it suffering through week after week of half-assed coaching and don't give a damn Admin.
We have to be fans after putting up with this for the last three years. I guess this is what IU football fans have felt like for the last 15 years.

Yet we cant get rid of LOSER COACH HAT after today's blowout in progress down 24-7 halfway through the second, that is not even FRED AKERS BAD. Whatever Daniels, Burke and the BOT are smoking I WANT SOME!

Okay... I DEMAND it!

Now what?

Send your letters on the most expensive paper you have to Daniels and BOT demanding heads on platters. Say something about wanting to leave a portion of your estate to the school but don't feel comfortable doing so if they cant even run a simple sports program and not sure if your grandchildren should go same reasons. They want your money, they always want your money! Make them think they need to do something for it. Trouble is they are lazy.
