How was the Purdue crowd turnout? I was thinking it should be pretty good since Milwaukee is close proximity to Indiana but saw a couple posts on twitter indicating otherwise.

It seemed from TV like it was decent, but definitely not home court advantage-esque.
If we play Iowa State, it will be closer to a road game. Their fans have turned out much better tonight. Our fans stink, I've pretty much faced it. Even the ones there just sat there. Yes, it was a stressful game, but it's the freaking NCAA Tournament. When Villanova was down 10-2 against Mt. St. Mary's, their fans were still into it. Same story every year with our fans.
Hopefully since it's a Saturady, we'll get more people there. But like I said, Iowa State has a real good showing tonight on a weeknight - theirs will only be better Saturday.
Okay Purdue crowd but not great. Loud section in the one corner and the main section down below. But ISU has fans all over the place. Lots more cheering from them when ISU was playing than from Purdue fans during our game. Guy behind me is from ISU. He said it was a 5 1/2 hour drive for him. It's only 4 1/2 from Purdue, so I was disappointed.
Turnout for Purdue was decent but not enough to make it feel like an advantage like others said. I was surprised to see at least a thousand Wisconsin fans there throughout the stadium. Most said they bought tickets hoping Wisconsin would be placed there, then just decided to go anyways.
Hoping the Butler fans stick around for the second game and cheer on their fellow Indiana school. That might help balance the ISU fans out.
