Very heady player that doesn’t force a bad shot. Not all that surprising that he shoots at such a high percentage.

1/2 practically from 3 is ridiculous. He’s been on a heater since start of B1G last year—48% from 2024 through this season so far.

Looks like it probably requires 5 attempts per game. He's at 4.3 per game right now.

My understanding is it's based on FG's made per game.

For single season season for 2pt or 3pt FG%, need a minimum of 2.5 FG's made per game and play in at least 75% of games. For overall FG%, it's minimum of 5 FG's made per game and play in at least 75% of games.

18 games, Loyer would need 45 3-pt FG's made to be eligible for the statistical leaders. Regardless, it's still damn impressive.

I'm not entirely surprised. We have among the greatest offensive minds in college basketball on the sidelines.

And if you saw how painter and staff searched and reached out to others have the FDU loss on how to improve 3P shooting, your know this wasn’t going away. But yes. The offensive mind(s) Purdue has do an amazing job playing to their best players’ skillset!
