Dude that was 15 20 years ago people evolved get better. If you truly looked at Tom Allen's resume without the IU hate you would probably admit the guys did a pretty remarkable job to make it to where he's made it

That's so dumb. At a very minimum, Allen has proven he is a hell of a defensive teacher. At a high level. He's also recruiting pretty damn well right now.
Brohm is a good coach. So is Allen.
The logic here is fascinating. How exactly do you think the most successful coaches get started? At some point, they had no HC experience.
Gruden's father was an assistant under Lee Corso. He lived in Bloomington when Bob Knight was starting out. What a shock he'd be positive about the Loosiers when he and his brother were made honorary coaches for the Spring Game at IU.
Tom Allen is a glorified HS coach who was a DC for 3 seasons (at most) at the FBS level. Then he brought in Grampa DeBord as OC - what is he now - 70?
Brohm has a .750 win %, won three straight bowl games, and two straight conference championships. History will show that Brohm is and will be a much better HC than Allen. Fred Glass screwed up with Wilson, panicked when he had a major scandal to deal with (after giving Wilson an extension the January before), and hired a guy with no business being the HC of any BIG program.
IU hasn't had a season with a winning record since 1993! You have absolutely no place to talk smack. IU is and will continue to be the historically worst program in the BIG. Purdue is on the rise, and IU is going back to where it belongs - DFL.
You do realize that despite the fact that IU and Purdue were at their best and worst point, respectively, over the past 25 years, IU only managed to beat us by 2 last year.
Allen has 4 middle of the road commits. Congrats to him. Our recruiting was awful the past few years. Last year we were 14th in the Big Ten rankings. Guess who was 13th, with nearly the identical average star rating?
As for the spring game comparison...if you really feel that you can get a great read from splitting up the team and having them play with modified rules, you are a bigger idiot than your comments on here would suggest.

We will see. I'll just say I'm glad he's not our coach. We just got rid of someone that had no business being a head coach. IMO, IU just hired one.

Considering Blough had to run for his life every play, to lead the Big Ten in passing is incredible. I know we sucked, but our O line was like Swiss cheese! Under Brohm's tutelage I look for Blough to tear it up. Granted we will lose to the good teams 50 to 35 and I doubt we'll win more than 4 games. Watching WKU play, I think this coach is a miracle worker. To win more than 4 this year he'll have to be. But it will be exciting to watch a game again!
