I think he's going to be a special coach and I hope he stay as long as possible.

Dude that was 15 20 years ago people evolved get better. If you truly looked at Tom Allen's resume without the IU hate you would probably admit the guys did a pretty remarkable job to make it to where he's made itYea. We haven't even hit tax day in 2017 and we don't have a 2018 commit yet. If that's the best you can muster then you have nothing.
Meanwhile, you have a coach that couldn't win big at one of the state's powerhouse HIGH SCHOOL programs and you think he's going to elevate a college program that hasn't won a bowl game in over a quarter century? Good luck with that!
it's called getting sleeping and having to defend myself and respond to the massive amount of hate thats coming from you Boilermakers. Gn professorYou better say goodnight,Mr Hoosier.Your English is getting worse.
I am not being hateful, just having fun.it's called getting sleeping and having to defend myself and respond to the massive amount of hate thats coming from you Boilermakers. Gn professor

That's so dumb. At a very minimum, Allen has proven he is a hell of a defensive teacher. At a high level. He's also recruiting pretty damn well right now.At least he's not an average high school coach taking over his first BCS program.
The logic here is fascinating. How exactly do you think the most successful coaches get started? At some point, they had no HC experience.I'll discuss his other head coaching experience below:
.
Gruden's father was an assistant under Lee Corso. He lived in Bloomington when Bob Knight was starting out. What a shock he'd be positive about the Loosiers when he and his brother were made honorary coaches for the Spring Game at IU.That average high school coach is kicking Brohms butt right now in recruiting. Just seen our spring game and Tom Allen looks like the real deal to me. But don't take my word for it, just ask the great Jon Gruden.
IU hasn't had a season with a winning record since 1993! You have absolutely no place to talk smack. IU is and will continue to be the historically worst program in the BIG. Purdue is on the rise, and IU is going back to where it belongs - DFL.From where we came from, I'll gladly take back to back Bowl appearances. I was merely making a point that our high school coach is out recruiting the great Brohm so far and if our recruiting classes are mediocre then that must make Purdue's recruiting class trash.

Brohm is a good coach. So is Allen.
Considering you are an IU football fan, you wouldn't know what a good spring game was anyway.Compared to the train wreck of a spring game you guys put on last week, I'd say we're off to a great start.
So you're ready to put a Juco quarterback up against the leading passer in the Big 10 last year BEFORE he had Brohm as a coach? You guys barely beat us at home LAST year when we were led by an assistant coach. See ya' in Ross Ade Loosiers, the bucket comes home to roost in W Lafayette where it belongs!Injuries and a Juco quarterback who was in his first year of major college football, learning a whole new system. But I actually think the kid Ramsey is going to bet him out of the starting spot
By taking over a bottom feeder program and working up from there. I guess half the first step is complete. The logic here is fascinating. How exactly do you think the most successful coaches get started? At some point, they had no HC experience.
I heard IU was voted National Champions of Spring Football!Compared to the train wreck of a spring game you guys put on last week, I'd say we're off to a great start.
Yes and you dumb asses fired the guy that built your "Powerhouse" of a team. Go crawl back in your lime stone cave...Yeah you can't tell much from a spring game other than IU is bigger, deeper and more athletic than Purdue. The talent level at IU is head and shoulders above what Purdue can put on the field. Based off watching our spring game versus Purdue spring game, I'll predict the bucket stays with us for the next four years
Same here. Word on the street is that Gruden was so impressed with IU`s defensive secondary that he want to invite three of them to his Gruden QB Camp. All NFL first round Wild cat QB`s. Man IU is deep in talent!!!!I heard IU was voted National Champions of Spring Football!
