What in the blue blazes is she talking about? Must be hard to put an original thought together without reading the notes which makes nonsense.
She said on many occasions it was "all about the children" - excepting all the insider trading money she made.

Roll Call is standard, fact based reporting.

Your acronyms are going nuts. You need to control yourself immediately. It makes you look stupid and makes everything you post look like the rantings of a QAnon lunatic.
Wow some big swings and misses from your chair there. The air molecules that they landed on must be bruised.

Stewart does not claim to be "an objective journalist." He describes himself as a political comedian.

Musk flat out said he would do the interview as long as the interview was broadcast unedited. Stewart said "Deal!"
So, now you lefty libs are mad at Musk for not going on John Stewarts show? You guys are reaching...(can I call you "guys" or is that offensive?)

So this new Federal bureaucracy is kinda expensive to operate. But since the people in it have no government experience or expertise, it’s much easier for them to find indiscriminate wholesale cuts rather than targeted inefficiencies. And with inexperience come critical errors.
If you get a $5000 check from DOGE next year, will you turn it down because you're sad about where the money came from?

I’m not mad about it.

Just found it interesting that when Stewart called Musk’s bluff, Musk ran for cover.

I wonder how many republicans with student loans that was against the Biden student loan forgiveness applied for it and got it.

Hey, I know how to save the economy without firing tens of thousands of civil servants! Don’t completely destroy the valuation of American businesses! And it’s all because Trump has an extraordinarily simplistic view of economics, and only listens to the voices in the room that tell him what he wants to hear.

Read this: American equities have lost $4 trillion in market value since last month. Shameful.

The equities drop has everything to do with speculation. People believe that the economy will slow, that Tariffs will have a negative effect and then there are a lot of businesses that had elevated valuations. Once reality settles in, things will adjust accordingly. I get being upset about the markets being down, but that also means it's a great time to invest if you can.

All of this.

But it can also mean that the Trump Administration caused a recession that was completely unnecessary.

Care to make a bet? Winner makes a donation to the others charity of choice.
Here's the bet: I bet that the Dow, SnP500 and NAS are all higher on 9/1/25 than they were on 3/9/25.

My blood boils every time I hear her speak. How people are stupid enough to vote for her, I will never understand.
Well there are a few others in that party that make her look brilliant and unfortunately pointing them out would be met with racist crys such as Green, Johnson, Waters, Booker (Spartacus), and Crockett could easily be shown to be a bit slow as putting it nicely. Then you could add several white people as well as Schiff, Kaine, Coons, Warren (Pocahontas) and Swallwell to the same list...and even more if desired. Pelosi is more corrupt than dumb... which probably is true for some mentioned above.

Geez I hope they are.

It’s entirely possible, but also possible that they are up, but with inflation and increased unemployment.

When inflation is reported does it go back to when Biden had for a total inflation increase or just the increase recently? I'm sure the actual inflation from a few years ago is much higher than the increase recently...at least that is what product shows.

So, if you're so confident Trump is going to destroy the economy and cause a recession, put your money where your mouth is.

These daily market gyrations, while disheartening and unpleasant, were probably also not unexpected by the very smart economic minds Trump has advising him.

The analogy here is if someone who hasn't worked out in a really long time goes on a very strenuous exercise regimen. The immediate result is pain, soreness and not seeing the results in the mirror. But, it they're consistent and persistent, the pain and soreness goes away and they start reaping the benefits.

My take is that Trump is parsing out absolutely unnecessary nonsense that is greatly harming the economy:
  • Insulting trading partners' leaders
  • Insulting entire nations
  • Producing anti-American economic sentiment
  • Tariffs that are not based on a careful assessment of economic complexities, but with a sledgehammer with little regard for consequences.
  • Tariffs that threaten consequences if action isn't taken; but when we get cooperation the tariffs carry on.
  • Wholesale cuts to economic regulatory and oversight agencies, with no regard for individual performance of dismissed employees.
There is no rhyme nor reason to Trump; it's the way he is and the way he always has been. He finds some sycophant that agrees with his latest ADHD brainstorm and uses that as the basis for action. Later, he gets another brainstorm and immediately pivots without thought of consequences.

It is shameful.

Is that why you voted for Biden and then Harris, Clown Show?

Is that why you voted for Biden and then Harris, Clown Show?

Calling me "Clown Show" is off topic and a personal insult.
__________________________________________________________________________________________

Because Biden and Harris were crappy candidates, but given the binary choice they were better options than the unmitigated disaster that has been and is Donald Trump?

Oh, and Trump desperately tried to promote, encourage, and whitewash the overthrow of a free and fair Presidential election, and has now pardoned thousands of criminals responsible for it, including about 200 that were felons convicted of assaulting law enforcement.

Yup.

Lol. Same analogy Charles Payne used on Fox yesterday. Just a coincidence I'm sure.

It's the same BS no matter who says it.

You're saying if he's stays consistent with the tariffs everything is gonna be just fine? Or if he keeps flip flopping on tariffs it's all gonna be fine?

Very smart economic minds. Lol

He had a few of those last time. The ones he has now are bootlickers or idiots, or both.

He's hired a bunch of yes men this time. Which one is gonna tell him tariffs are bad for the economy........at the likely risk of unemployment? This is what happens when you manage through fear and intimidation.

It's a freakin ceasefire proposal. Jfc people. You're like the lineman that celebrates after a tackle. The game has just started.

I am for anything by anybody that stops the war on terms that guarantee security and sovereignty for Ukraine.

You actually believe I would be against a good deal for Ukraine because trump was responsible for it? Lol. You are so wound up in your political extremism and partisanship you have to make stuff so you can make an attack post or create another argument.

And the saddest thing is you'll ignore what I just posted. Tomorrow or the next day or next week you'll be right back at it, accusing me and others of being against a trump deal with Ukraine because we dont like trump. That's the petty games YOU PLAY, MAGA PLAYS, and above all, TRUMP PLAYS.

I believe that about the hysterical KatCS. Not sure about you - but I know how you love your virtue signalling, Bagram Bob.
