I debated whether to post this after our close win over FAU. First, because there are very few FAU message boards (only one I could find), and second, because it was supposed to be an easy victory like ISU but turned out to be a nail biter. However, there were just enough FAU posts to make it worthwhile and the emotional curve of the FAU posters from apathy to hope and back to depression was just too illustrative to pass up. I'm really hoping to do another one of these posts after a victory over Minny next week. Go Boilers, sink the boat!!!

Just not polished…that's what I see all the time. The difference between a solid team and one that is not, is being polished. How do you make a snafu on a guy you hand the ball to in practice 100 times a week in practice. Then that guy drops a three yard pass stone cold.

We were in it the whole game, and controlled some parts of it. If this is what we get when we go in a 16 point dog, I don't feel terrible about it.
