ESPN says we are 5th

In conference with Maryland and Wisconsin above us - is it head to head so we should be 4 for beating Maryland?
Right now the seedings are...

1. Michigan State
2. Michigan
3. Wisconsin
4. Purdue
5. Maryland
6. UCLA
7. Illinois
8. Oregon
9. Indiana
10. Ohio State
Then there is a jumbled mess of 7-11 Rutgers, Minnesota, Nebraska and Northwestern that I would have to look further into.
15. USC

But we lost to Wisconsin. Purdue, Maryland and Wisconsin are each 1-1 against the other 2. So the next tiebreaker is record against the team at the top. We all lost to MSU. So then it's record against #2. If you assume Michigan beats Maryland, which kind of has to happen for this tiebreaker to be created, then Purdue wins that tiebreaker because we beat Michigan. That tiebreaker assumes we lose to Illinois and Wisconsin loses to Minnesota. So all are at 13-7.

If Maryland beats Michigan, everything changes, and could result in a 4-way tie at 14-6, or a 3-way tie if Wisconsin loses to Minnesota.

There are a whole lot of games that still play a role in the seedings. And the fact that Maryland plays Michigan jumbles everything us.

I wouldn't put any stake in how ESPN orders the teams. Use this site:

If we win out I believe we are 3d. If we lose one of two several possible outcomes. If we lose both pretty tough to stay top 4.
