ESPN reporting that Alford announced he is staying at UCLA

IU fans claim to hate the slowed down methodical approach. It would funny watching them change their tune if this were true.

Maybe IU can get Kelvin Sampson back, isn't he good?
Why would he want to leave UCLA...Great weather...great golf all year...for Bloomington, Indiana, home of the dumpiest trailers in the United States? Once again, Indiana University's history as a Blue Blood program is just that....history, and if it's Miller, Mack, or any of the other drunken love affairs the GNU IU fans area having wet dreams about ...sorry for their luck.

Alford said after the firing of Knight that he would never coach at IU. And he was in no way interested this time.
Why would Alford want to relocate his entire life when Hoosier Nation wanted no part of him...it would have been one ugly situation. how could he not know? all he had to do was surf the internet and make a few calls. it was pretty obvious they didn't want him down there and if they did, it was genius of him to turn it down... he would have been defleeced by IU fans eventually. and besides, i couldn't stomach hearing about the sacred son for the next 4 years (after which he would have been fired)
