Only player I see on that list that might make a run at Biggie is probably Colson (avr 15 and 10) or Motley (being that Baylor is having a good season so far). Hard to argue with Biggie's production as nobody on this list is remotely close to what he brings every night.

While I don't think Biggie will win National POY (though I'd certainly love to see him win it), I think, objectively, he should and will win the Karl Malone Award. I can't stress enough how impressed I've been with him this year. We've all wanted Purdue to go from a good program to a great program for several years, and though it has been a collective effort, I think, looking back, we'll point to Biggie as the most instrumental player in that climb into a higher echelon.

His numbers speak for themselves...now I just want to see him hit a game-winning shot. I'm cool if he wants to wait for the Final Four to do it.

Caleb "Biggie" Swanigan has 296 rebounds so far.....looks like he'll definitely break Joe Barry Carroll's single season mark of 352. If he averages a little more than his current per game average, it's possible he could break it in Mackey Arena against Michigan State.....wouldn't that be interesting.

Otherwise, it would most likely happen in Happy Valley against Penn State....a stark contrast, though the crowd might resemble that of Ross-Ade.

He's got a very good shot at the Malone Award.
