In the move already going to Louisville with similar title to what he had at Purdue. It’s been a rough 6 months for him...
I was on KHC when he was fired and there was a lot of discussion. He never seemed to understand he had a job to do and was more interested in mentoring the players. Seemed like he spent a lot of time playing Madden with commits to other schools.

He has a qc title now. I wonder if this is a step to get into coaching

So what was the full story on what went down with him? I assume it's not premium info at this point.
From the outside it seems like there is less hype on social media around recruiting since he left. Was it the behind the scenes stuff like scouting and gathering info on recruits?

He certainly had the appearance at Purdue he was “recruit relations” but rumor was his role was meant to be much more active in recruiting and evaluation.

part of me thinks that is spin out of the brohm camp.

I think it was disagreement over his role. I don’t think brohm was interested in Hodges desire to take on a larger mentor ship role.

also, I think there was some pretty bad staff relations last year stemming from issues outside of football. Who knows if that played a part

Certainly feels like it to me. Not sure why else one would take on QC work, unless he was forced to for some budget reason or something.
