He announced that he will make his commitment on Saturday. He also lists Purdue among his final 10.

Anyone have odds on this? I'm thinking slim to none, but one can only hope.

None. We aren't even recruiting him and why would you hope we get him?

He's a really good player. Why WOULDNT we eat him?
Notwithstanding the typo, I agree. Why wouldn't Purdue want him? He's one of the best 50-75 players in his class and is from Indiana (where conventional wisdom - right or wrong - says kids have more basketball savvy, IQ, etc). He's less of a shooter and more of driver, which is closer to the opposite of what Purdue has at 2-guard, as opposed to being duplicative. Besides the intangible turn-off associated with his brothers going to IU, what's not to like?

Ah, the old Peace Hero from LMO was great back in the 70's. The Gargantuan from Jimmy John's now is a smidge better. And I doubt Gordon is coming to Purdue

He saw how Bryson Scott fit in the scheme of things.....(meaning he would fit in like Bryson did if he would change his ways and fit the system, I love Bryson Scott and his game, just didn't fit...I will even add besides Ray Davis...Bryson was the best guard defender when he was on the court)

If he is willing to playing tough defensive and work thru the offense to get his chances on offense then I say welcome....

I think it is Butler or maybe a wild card...like Michigan or Notre Dame or Arizona St......I don't know his academic side of things.....

Either way good kid and good player......I hope he chooses well.....good luck.

Just my opinion....so who cares....

I think you're right as far as what his fit would be at Purdue.

With Scott, in the end he wanted to be a different type of player than what we needed him to be at Purdue. The coaches wanted him here and worked with him extensively to make him a better player. I think he would have been a big help to this year's team. He saw it differently, left and now openly regrets that decision.

Hopefully we can move on and in the end not feel as sad about it as he does

Openly regrets that decision?

He said on Twitter at the start of the summer that he regretted leaving and wished he was still on the team.

Scott raised my opinion of him with that tweet and it wasn't that low to begin with. I wish he was still at Purdue. My favorite Purdue teams always had at least one bulldog( hence my tribute with my screen name to one of my favorites). I guess Weatherford now can take that mantle hopefully.

Will someone who's literate in twitter care to identify to whom these handles belong?

I'm not surprised by the regret as much as how soon he's regretting his decision. Regret is a horrible thing to live with, and I hope him the best.

LMO's bread was far better than Jimmy John's will ever hope to be. Man, I miss LMO.

No. Postponed to take official visits.
I really wonder if he still has all those offers? I don't think Purdue would take him. IU board says they cooled on him. ND board doesn't mention him. Is he a 2017 recruit?

Nope. He's 2016. He hasn't played up to his older brothers billing.

Purdue would have taken his commitment a year ago, but I doubt his offer is valid anymore.

Let's Munch Out

Let's Munch Out. A sandwich shop in the late 70's that served up sandwiches on great crunchy Italian bread. They were years ahead of their market. Slow as hell delivery and a high price for the day. But I still have friends who were in RHIT in those days who credit them for teaching food quality. Subway and Jimmy John's are garbage by comparison.

It's a kid becoming an adult who is realizing his limitations. This is awakening as an adult.

Ahh...the Peace Hero...I'm getting all misty.

Oh, I remember this thread, someone wanted to eat Eron a month or so ago. Did he survive?
