No.. Walters told Purdue fandom that they thought wrong. What happened was, Miller got evaluated by someone who wasn’t Dale Williams or your average Purdue fan. He’s not leaving cause he’s “so good that the big dollars came for him” lolWondering if another school contacted him with some better NIL money. Wasn’t Miller mentioned in an article about how he was in a lot better shape physically for this season? Was thinking he was supposed to be starting this year
So he lost his spot?No.. Walters told Purdue fandom that they thought wrong. What happened was, Miller got evaluated by someone who wasn’t Dale Williams or your average Purdue fan. He’s not leaving cause he’s “so good that the big dollars came for him” lol
I mean I’m sure he’s a great guy but it’s pretty hard to believe he abruptly left because, like Spencer Holstege, he found his destination. So he lost his spot?
I’d bet he has a spot and payday waiting.I mean I’m sure he’s a great guy but it’s pretty hard to believe he abruptly left because, like Spencer Holstege, he found his destination.
I certainly don’t think he lost his spot as in if it was 2011.. but I do think the staff just thought they could bring in better.
Again, do I know? No. But it seems very oddly timed
I’ll eat my words if I’m wrong but I doubt itI’d bet he has a spot and payday waiting.
He’s not playing at the next level247 already has a crystal ball prediction to Louisville. It’s possible he gets NIL money out of it, but I think this is more to do with wanting to finish his last season with a coach and system he’s familiar with. Which is likely smart move assuming he wants to play at the next level.

I just never thought Miller was any good. But Dale Williams wasn’t and brohm basically only demanded excellence out of some spots. This is similar to threads on the basketball board, except some people don't think Purdue can upgrade our guard position in the portal for fear of upsetting a current player. I think Walters is basically saying "All positions are open for upgrade"
People probably think Sulaiman Kpaka and prince Boyd will be out there in the fall. Honestly I doubt it. If Ben Kreul and Ryan Brandt are still here come the fall it will be because they suddenly were able to make an impact on the fieldThis is similar to threads on the basketball board, except some people don't think Purdue can upgrade our guard position in the portal for fear of upsetting a current player. Thought Boyd was decent, but yeah if we can upgrade that works.People probably think Sulaiman Kpaka and prince Boyd will be out there in the fall. Honestly I doubt it. If Ben Kreul and Ryan Brandt are still here come the fall it will be because they suddenly were able to make an impact on the field
Oh I don’t think he’s bad at all but is he gonna play when you have Brevard, Nichols, harkless, Lewis, langham, mba and probably more? No. Kpaka way way no.Thought Boyd was decent, but yeah if we can upgrade that works.
He probably does. I think he was just told that they don’t foresee him retaining a starting job when they get done bringing players inWe only want players that want to be Boilermakers. Wish him the best.
You never want to see a guy with experience leave, especially on the OL where you need depth, but as said earlier, if the staff is trying to upgrade across the OL and there was writing on the wall, he's probably looking for a place where he's likely to start day 1.I don’t know, he seemed pretty decent to me. Played in 29 games in G&B.
Today’s H&R radio show didn’t like seeing him go. They also reported that Colorado has 51 players in the portal. Has this become a mess yet?
Much easier to upgrade at 1 of 22 spots on a middling football team than 1 of 5 spots on a top 15 basketball team. This is similar to threads on the basketball board, except some people don't think Purdue can upgrade our guard position in the portal for fear of upsetting a current player. Just like Newman, if Morton and Gillis were cut, you wouldn’t see them at glamour destinations. Not playing any major roleMuch easier to upgrade at 1 of 22 spots on a middling football team than 1 of 5 spots on a top 15 basketball team.
I don’t disagree with the premise but all were top 100 guys at one point. Gillis slipped with his injury. Morton seems to have regressed offensively or just played in a very bad high school league.Just like Newman, if Morton and Gillis were cut, you wouldn’t see them at glamour destinations. Honestly I like the effort of both, but particularly with Morton, I don’t know how a Pennsylvania mr basketball can shoot so poorly. If he was just good on wide open shots he’d be a pretty good starter to be honest.I don’t disagree with the premise but all were top 100 guys at one point. Gillis slipped with his injury. BC weighing in on Bball?Honestly I like the effort of both, but particularly with Morton, I don’t know how a Pennsylvania mr basketball can shoot so poorly. If he was just good on wide open shots he’d be a pretty good starter to be honest.
