From what is going around the campfire, Cal(ifornia) is emerging as a legitimate contender for Brown. We all know how alleged package deals go, but there has been some talk the last few days that Brown, Ivan Rabb and Caleb Swanigan and the people in their inner circles have been communicating about them all playing together. I'm not one to put much stock into package deals, but it's at least something new and interesting to talk about.
Second post:
Rabb is the one domino that is the most important. Should he fall the way of Cal (which most seem to be thinking can happen) then we can start to talk more realistically about this happening. Even if it doesn't, Rabb is the one guy that Cal really, really needs to make some noise. Thing is, until Arizona actually gets beat straight up for a big time West Coaster they've gone after all out, you cannot rule them out. Like I said, we'll see if it actually happens, but I've heard enough from enough people I feel would have a legitimate idea of what is going on that I felt I had to at least throw it out there for discussion.
May not be anything to it but interesting anyways.
