Purdue gets full page coverage on 2nd page of Indy Star. Nice article on 25 year old football walk-on and another on Carsen Edwards recruitment. I know there is some angst on here about getting Simpson or not, but from what I have read and watched, I am really please with this commitment. I think he is more all around skilled than the other 2 targets. I think he really wants to be here and if Simpson really liked Purdue he could have made that choice a long time ago.

Been a while since I thought of coverage in terms of "full page" or not - I honestly can't remember the last time I saw or read a hard copy of a newspaper.

And your point is? Just thought it was interesting that the Indianapolis Star devoted a whole page, whether digitally, hard copy or penned on a scroll to Purdue sports.

Sorry, didn't mean to take anything away from your original point - it is both notable and exciting that they provided that much coverage considering their history in covering Purdue sports.

This is good news. The local Lafayette newspaper prints about Purdue sports and then Indystar copies. Full page sounds cool though.
