IC is leaking on Biden, painting him as a liar hours after his address to the nation. Biden apparently dangled aide to the afghan president in order for him to lie about the status of the war.

Biden told Afghanistan's president that the fight against the Taliban wasn't going well, but that the Afghan president needed to lie to the world to create the perception that the fight was going well. Reuters has the audio of the call. There may have been a quid pro quo associated with Bidens request.

This comes after Biden claimed he had no idea the AFG government would collapse. Here he is on record stating that he was aware and he was instructing the head of Afghanistan to lie to hide that fact.

If true, this is exactly the type of thing that Trump was impeached for, except in this case it appears Biden, unlike Trump, is actually guilty.

Bidet has already done things Trump would of been impeached for several times over. Nothing will come of this because all the left with their TDS care about is not having mean tweets.

If this pans out to be true, I highly doubt anything gets done until after the GOP wins the House and Senate then we will be locked in for two years while the 'hearing' goes on.

During the nearly 15 years since the United States went to war in Afghanistan, the number of American troops there spiraled to 100,000, then dropped slightly below 10,000.

Trump was handed a somewhat tense situation by Obama but Obama had started the withdrawal of troops.
Biden was handed a stable Afghanistan and completely botched the continued withdrawal of troops.

Trump had planned on keeping the Air Base at Bagram under US control even after the withdrawal.
I don't know how that would have worked out but it would have kept stability in the region until the majority of the troops, allies and civilians were evacuated.
The presence of air power and occasional use of it as needed, by Trump, kept the Taliban at bay.

Biden pulled the plug on air support after 8/31 and that caused the collapse.

Word spread that we were abandoning them to the talibs and the afghan allies all quit. They were trained to rely on our close air support, and when that was cut off they panicked and fled. Just like Vietnam in 1975, Biden voted to cut off air support back then which caused the collapse of the SVN army.

Biden ****ed this up completely. Hes presided over every American foreign policy disaster of the last 2 generations.
