I believe that he can be a solid reserve but I wouldn't expect a whole lot more than that out of him this coming season.

I love the 268 shots in 4.3 minutes a game. Wow!

I love the fact he generated 13 points and 7 rebounds in 4 mins per game. This guy is a machine. . I believe I commented in another thread about how useless Haas' per 40 minute stats are. He has a 120 points per 40 minute stat. This guy Must be a true stud if you just use stats - particularly the 40 minute stats.

Some more telling stats were his ft % at 58%. He had 80 fouls in games for a 3.75 average and fouled out twice. On the down side, he only had 9 blocks in 29 games. He's obviously not a defensive dominating transformer.

And as for highlight reel films, has any player ever published a bad highlight reel as part of a recruiting site? He was the 8th best overall JuCo player, and possibly the best JuCo power forward. At this point he appears to be Purdue's best true PF. Admittedly, he's not as talented as Edwards is, but he gives Purdue the potential to give Edwards a rest, and the option of playing big ball if desired.

Your math may be off on those fouls. It says he committed 75 fouls in 29 games, which would be under three per game.

He's long and athletic. Not a shot blocker, but should help while playing against the teams that typically give Purdue fits. Wheeler should help as well.

Here's what I see from the stats you linked. He was 2nd leading scorer on a very balanced scoring team -- 4 players averaged double figures and a 5th missed joining the club by 0.4 ppg. He averaged 6.9 rpg. His team went 24-5. Not bad.
