Early signing period for college football?

This would do a lot to cut down the decommits. Would also eliminate much of the oversigning at schools like Tennessee.

Kids develop so late in football, i dont think it makes as much sense. Maybe one in november after the hs season is over.

The deal is: commit early or risk an injury during your senior year and get zero college offers. This proposal would go a long way to to end this endless decommit lunacy. It works well in hoops and football should do the same.

How does this change it? Just accelerates the timing for those willing to sign. Does nothing about decommitments

Also, what is wrong with decommitments. If they don't want to be at Purdue anymore, bye
